Have your say on risks and vulnerabilities in the EU Food Supply Chain!
– An EC JRC survey for food chain stakeholders –
EFSA informs that the EC Joint Research Centre is conducting a survey addressed to the food chain stakeholders on “Mapping the Risks and Vulnerabilities in the EU Food Supply Chain”.
The overarching aim of the study is to support the European food security preparedness and response mechanism (EFSCM) in formulating recommendations to build preparedness for future risks and crises in the EU food supply.
To this end, the study seeks to map and assess risks and vulnerabilities affecting EU food supply and security across sectors, stages of the supply chain, and Member States.
In particular, this survey aims to:
(i) identify the main risks and vulnerabilities affecting the food supply chain;
(ii) assess the impact and likelihood of risks;
(iii) cast light on the noteworthy threats to be dealt with in the first place.
The deadline for participating in the survey, via an online questionnaire available in all EU languages, is 30 June 2023.
For more info on the study, you can download the Support Letter available on the SURVEY access page.
