EU Consultation: Transition pathway for a more resilient, sustainable and digital agri-food ecosystem
The European Union launched a public consultation to initiate the process of developing a transition pathway for the agri-food ecosystem. This initiative is linked to the update of the EU Industrial Strategy, which highlights the need to accelerate the green and digital transitions of the EU Industry.
The consultation is open to the main stakeholders of the agri-food ecosystem: industry, associations, social partners, public authorities, and other organisations, who are encouraged to contribute according to their involvement in the agri-food sectors.
A staff working document outlines the main issues relevant to the ecosystem and serves as a basis for a transition pathway for a more resilient, sustainable and digital agri-food ecosystem.
