Methods for the detection of food contaminants (mycotoxins and pesticides) in field
The new methods – under development – regard the detection of pesticides, emerging contaminants (i.e. glyphosate) and mycotoxins in the field. They allow rapid detection of target contaminants, and the possibility to carry out the analysis on-site, fostering the potential interoperability with online tools.
The two methods apply to the chemical contaminants in food and feed and to the primary production stage along the food chain, mainly addressing grain and milk.
