Call for abstracts: Youngs acting for the future of Food Safety in EU session @EU FOOD SAFETY FORUM 2024

EXTENDED DEADLINE: 30 September 2024

The EU FOOD SAFETY PLATFORM announces the launch of our second call for abstracts aiming to highlight innovative research and ideas from emerging researchers and professionals in the field of food safety.

We invite young researchers to submit abstracts showcasing their groundbreaking work in food safety. For inspiration, check out the posters from 2023 in Youths&Update of the Knowledge Center.

Only 6 best submissions will be awarded and featured on our platform:

• The authors will have a 5-minute pitch presenting the selected abstracts on the stage of our EU FOOD SAFETY FORUM on December 3, 2024, in Rome;
• The authors will participate in the “ASK the EXPERTS” session, having the opportunity to ask international experts relevant questions and interact with stakeholders during the Forum;
• The awarded posters will be showcased at the Forum venue;  
• The awarded posters will be published in the EU FOOD SAFETY PLATFORM
• Three selected authors will present their ideas by participating in the podcast series: “Young Minds of Food Safety” powered by our platform member LVA and disseminated via Social Media and YouTube Channels.
