#EUChooseSafeFood – FS4EU sopport the campaing

#EUChooseSafeFood is the key message of the communication campaign “The European Union supports food safety” promoted by the European Union and launched last summer by EFSA – the European Food Safety Agency in 21 countries of the Union.

The goal of this initiative is to reduce the distance between citizens and scientists, to strengthen information by helping consumers to make responsible and safe food choices, guaranteed by solid scientific evidence.

“FoodSafety4EU” is supporting this action by sharing the key messages on its social channels and website through the network of 23 partners and 46 supporting international partners.

The project is promoting the campaign in ITALY in synergy with one of its active supporting partners: the EFSA Focal point set up at the Directorate General of Collegial Bodies for the Protection of Health (DGOCTS) of the Ministry of Health, coordinated by dr Bonati, while in Portugal it counts on the collaboration of another partner of the project – ASAE, Food Safety Authority.
